This is the third iteration of the CPM Seminar, which is facilitated by CPM founder, Vlad Smolkin. The goal of Seminar #3 will be to help each participant define and refine their vision of creative and professional success. The course is structured around assigned readings and application of concepts in group discussions. This seminar is geared towards creative professionals.


The Directives of This Seminar:

  • To define success based on individual factors over generalized pressures

  • To meet and get to know people in your creative and professional sphere that are open to exploring visions of success with you

  • To facilitate group conversations that are open, supportive and rigorous

  • To energize each member of the cohort to find their next steps

Some ideas that will be explored in this seminar:

  • Why the contemporary art world/market feel opaque and inaccessible

  • The process of finding your audience

  • Trying to make a positive change in your workplace that reflects your ideas, ethics, and world view

  • How/when/why to talk to dealers, galleries, critics, advisors, collectors
